Side Events
The SLG Open will be hosting multiple side events and activities that both competitors and spectators can partake in.
Chaos Cube
Come play the iconic Chaos Cube at this year’s SLG Open. In a cube format, players will draft from a random pack made from cards that are in the cube. Pods for this side event will start as soon as it reaches 8 sign-ups. The cube list and rules can be found here.
Guzma Grabber Pods
Attempt to Grab-a-Guzma at SLG’s Guzma Grabber side event! Pick a Pokémon format and form an 8-man pod where the winner will earn a SLG exclusive, stamped Guzma card. Decks for 2018 Worlds and BST-PAF formats will be provided.
Crobat Damage Speedrun
Try your hand at the Crobat Damage Speedrun! An old favorite of Carter’s, players will be put on the clock to try to place 500 damage counters while playing the Crobat solitaire deck. The fastest time put up will win a special prize!
Basic Energy Art Contest
Come participate in the SLG Basic Energy Art Contest! Pick an energy card and draw your favorite Pokémon. Any cards that are submitted will be judged, where the best artist will earn a prize!
